Hoping someone can help. I am almost complete with a cocktail cab. I don't want to put casters on the bottom and I also don't want to put just leg levels. Since the cab is black with chrome t-molding (after taking a cue from seeing Blakey's and GSXRMovistar's), I was hoping to put 2-3 inch legs on the cab. I wanted them to be really thick, maybe 2 1/2 inches in diameter so it would tie in the chrome/black motif better.
The question is...does anyone have ideas for how/where to buy legs like this? I was thinking about home depot...maybe a metal pole that I could cut into pieces...not sure. I'll definitely be putting rubber bottoms on the legs to keep from scratching, so it wouldn't matter too much if the bottom of the leg is open. Thoughts? Ideas? Any help would be appreciated...I've already learned so much from this sight.

Actually...am looking at GSXRMovistar's posting of his concept cab and those legs are exactly what I am thinking of. Where could I get those or something like those? Cheers!

Some of those are really cool.
Dammit! Now I've got one more thing to buy for my cocktail ;D
I'm thinking ABS style 9.

I like style 3 myself but none of them look like they help with leveling the cab. Maybe I am not seeing things correctly.

Funny thing was that was literally the first link that came up when I googled "Short furniture legs". ;)
Any of the styles that use a threaded center bolt would be fairly easy to level, assuming you're not trying to put the cab on a ramp or something. A washer or two trapped between the leg and mounting plate on the low side should do the trick. On the legs that have those big square mounting plates, I'd toss the mounting plates in my spare parts bin, drill the bottom of the cab and mount the legs using T nuts and bolts.
