Just got the Joystick DVD... been 20+ years since I last saw it...
Man that is one corny B-Movie!!! :laugh2:
Remember the giant joysticks protruding from the floor during the Face-off scenes??? Remember the school nurse describing callouses on the joystick hand and demonstrating how they hold the...JOYSTICK.?.?.?
Who remembers Jonathan Andrew McDorfus??? Eugene Grobe??? Patsy Rudder the Valley Girl???
And who could forget his Royal Highness...
KING VIDIOT!!!
But we all know who the real stars of the movie were...
GAMES MAN!!! THE VIDEO GAMES!!!

I saw this on cable for the first time probably 8 years ago now. It was cool to see the games and the arcade, but that movie is horrible. I just checked IMDB...it has a rating of 3.4 on there.
Even Joe Don Baker can't save this one :)

Yeah, I was a kid back then when it was on HBO or Cinemax... I was too young to tell the difference between a good movie and a crummy low-budget flick... :dunno
All I remeber was Dorfus, King Vidiot, T&A, joysticks, and the Games!!!
But it was still quite entertaining at the time... this was the era when you could walk into any arcade in the country and it would be totally packed... and the games were ALL classics...
NO fighters... NO Neos... NO DDRs... NO redemptions... NO Claw machines...ETC...
NUTHIN' BUT CLASSICS... ;D
Darn... I miss the glory days... :'(
