Title: GT 99, Trackball error...HELP!!!!!!!

Ok...i just switched my cab from a Golden Tee II to a Golden Tee 99, and everythng works great on the new game...graphics, sound, buttons....except the game is not recognizing the trackball...it is as if there is no trackball attached. the farthest i can get is to the screen where you select the number of players, but i cant get past that b/c i cant move the trackball....the same trackball still works on the GT II board, but not the GT 99 board....does anyone know why this might be happening??

Did your GT99 board come with the trackball connector cable to the logic board?

Also , do you have the connectors to the axis reversed? (ie: horizontal for vertical?)

I seem to remember some instructions that came with my gt trackball about different versions....

Lemme grab those instructions


Aw crap, it was only about using the black plastic spacer. GT fore 2003 doesn't need it.

Hate to mention this but maybe the new board has a problem at the trackball interface.  If you trackball works on the old board it seems to be OK.

Just a guess.
