Title: Saving cpu0 percentage settings?
Post by: SGT on February 07, 2007, 03:23:37 pm
Is there still no way to permanently save the cpu0 underclocking for Cruis'n USA?  I have read old threads that there are derivatives that allow this but you must compile your own source?

There is a post that talks about a cheat.ini file with a dead link that seems to imply that the cpu0 settings could be placed there?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

yes, via cheats.... I don't have the cheat code off hand though... it might even be in the official cheat files at this point

HC,

I loaded the latest cheats.dat.  While in the cheats mode, I can't seem to figure out how to change anything for cpu0.  Obviously I can change it via the ~ key, but that's temporary.  Is there a FAQ somewhere on cheats?

Edit:
I found it here in another thread:

Thanks.

You can load a cheat via the command line.  Again, I'm not an expert though, so I don't know exactly how to do that.
