Hey gang,
I'm building my first control panel and have decided on the U360 after reading the positive feedback about them. Seems most recommend getting the longer shaft, medium spring, and circular restrictor.
I want to make sure I understand the purpose of a circular restrictor. Is it just to shorten the throw? No effect on directional functionality, correct? Any other information to help me determine whether I would want one?
Thanks!

Yes, it is my understanding that they are just to shorten the throw.

Thanks. The Retroblast review appears to confirm that also.
I guess determining whether to use one or not will simply be a matter of personal preference.

hey Chris, I'm in the same boat as you right now with the U360's. Just wondering if you're also getting the optional wire harnesses for them??

Oh sure, another decision to make this even more difficult! :)
Actually, I already have a mini-PAC, so I think I can get away without the additional harness.

Search this forum. Here is my post with dimensions Sanwa circle and square restrictor.
Throw is shorten on square restrictor in normal directions (not diagonals) than on circle restrictor.
