MaLa won't generate a games list, and MAMEWAH wouldn't work the first time I tried it. I'm working on an old gateway computer, 1.1ghz, 128mb ram. I JUST reformatted it with Windows 98, because I do not like ME. I updated all the drivers, and the like, but still no luck. When it hat Windows ME on it, MaLa would generate a games list for just SNES, but MAME never worked. I've never gotten MAME to work on the computer I'm on now, or the other computer. MaLa works great on this computer (3ghz -512 ram- Windows XP), but it won't work on the other one. I just really want something that will run SNES, NES, and Kawaks without the windows element. I have to use Kawaks because MAME won't work no matter what I do. I've tried reinstalling it several times, and I've tried using MAMEWAH, but I don't know what to do. I honestly don't even know what to ask. I can't think of anything that would be wrong. All of the exact same stuff works on this computer, but not the older one. I'm utterly clueless as to what could be the problem, and I just thought someone might be able to help me out here.

Basically you just need to point MaLa to where mame is and where you roms are and that's it.
if you have further problems let us know what version of mame you are using and a screenshot of your mala options screen etc
