Hi,
I'm looking into a 25" arcade monitor for my cab.
I would like to get one that is vga compatible and plugs into my ati 7000 card.
Anyone have any suggestions?
thanks

The D9200 is 2" larger and is vga compatible (not sure if you are size-constrained to 25"). I ordered a refurbished one from WG for $325. They probably still have some more lying around. As far as I can tell, the only problem with the monitor was that one of the mounting brackets was bent at one end.. easily fixed with vise grips.

How wide is your cabinet inside T ?
If 25" then you could use wells d9200..the monitor is around 25" wide anyways so wont be any problem.
Call wells garnder and see if you can get the refurbished one.
Unless you want brand new...$500 worth it.. :)
I can clearly see it will fit because you already have a 25" monitor in there.

I've been looking at the wd9200 monitor looks very cool 8)
The inside width of my cabinet is about 25.75"
Seems like it would be a tight fit not much room for the bezel on the sides.
I could also resize the horizontal/vertical display from OSD if I had to?
(reading from seaner's other post).
Seaner what are the dimensions of the actual display(WxH).

I also found a 25" TV with s-video and component. Would it be possible to take advantage of the component in using my ati 7000?(has only s-video and vga)

The dimensions are available from the technical drawings in the PDF specs on the WG site. Including the frame, it's approximately 24x21 or so.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but which 25" TV has S-video and component?

Here's the 25" tv with s-video and component:

...but I think I might go with the D9200. I measured my bezel diagonals and it's right at 27" :)

I wouldn't count on being able to use the component.. people are reporting screwy problems with component out on some TVs with the ATI cards.. you could always try it, though, and return if it didn't work (but will probably have to gamble with the S-vid -> component adapter since it is special order from ATI).
