Title: Replacing monitor on a cab
Post by: Unholyknight on February 01, 2007, 11:06:26 pm
I have a Megalo 410 (which also has a thread in the projects section) which has a fairly decent screen, it could be better.  It currently uses a Hitachi 41" projection screen.

I looked on craigslist and found a sony 41" projection TV.

How hard is it to replace that monitor with the sony one?  Are there any guides I could look into on arcade monitor replacing and how to wire the new monitor up so that it gets video signal and power from the cabinet?

I know how to discharge the monitor already, so I am wondering about swapping them out and what modifications will need to be made.

I dunno...but I'm guessing this thread belongs more in the monitor forum. I'll bet people that frequent that board know about such things.

Yea i just though about that.

I've found my answer though, so we can let this slip into nothingness.
