Title: New ArcadeVGA vs Old Arcade VGA??
Post by: Moby Ick on February 01, 2007, 07:34:36 am
So,  I have a AGP based arcadevga card in my mame cab running to a betson arcade monitor.  I was wondering what (if anything) I would gain switching to the newer version? What benefits do the two new resolutions provide? Would I have to reconfig all my config files again?

Thanks
Mike B

Sorry, I've only got the new version, which works great for me. But I guess for you, I'd ask "if it aint broke, why fix it?"

You could just send Andy an e-mail and ask him.  He's always been helpful for me.

if your running a 15khz already then swapping will do nothing really V.2 was mainly made to somewhat support the 25khz monitor's.
