Title: Tetris Documentary
Post by: Cutty on January 30, 2007, 09:14:17 pm
Apologies if this has been posted before, I searched and couldn't find it. It's an excellent BBC Documentary on the origins of Tetris, its licensing and the problems between Nintendo and Atari over it.

I love when he called Tetris some little piece of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- game that the whole world was getting addicted to.

I was shocked to see Howard Lincoln gloating that he got to screw over Atari.  And if he's still this fired up in 2004, imagine what he was like in the late 80's and early 90's.

It's no wonder his company got sued for unethical business practices.

Thanks for the link.

There was a similar doc done on G4's old Icons show.
