I think the recent announcement by Ram Controls that his repros @ approx. $200 will be available soon affected the final price.

I almost bid high....but if I can buy a virtually identical brand new repro....why by a 20 + year old part NOS or not ?......after 20 years the RAM one is bound to be better since there's 20 years of history of knowing what would break on a SW Yoke and how to address those issues.

There have been various vendors over the years saying they had repros "about to hit the market" at various times.  It never happened at a price anywhere like market price.  Ram Controls may be the one or they may be not but frankly I'm not holding my breath until the product is shipping to end buyers.
