Title: Pin and wire
Post by: Franchise5 on January 27, 2007, 02:24:19 pm
I am making a start button for my cabinet.  I have a Sunset Riders Cabinet and bought Wrestlefest to put in it, but needs a start button.   I need to put a pin and wire in the spot for it on the pin board, or whatever it is called.
Where is the best place to pick up a pin and wire for such a job?
Will my local Radio Shack have what I need?

There is a part that is sold at radio shack called a shunt. Its sold in baggies of ten I believe. (Don't buy the jumper they look the same.)

The shunt will slip onto the two pins on your motherboard that your computercase power button would have been connected to. Then you can stab two wires into the end of the shunt and hook the other end up to a momentary switch. Done deal! :applaud:

Or you could just buy a power switch extention for $2.00 off the net. :P

He doesn't want a computer start button.  He's after a pin to go in his JAMMA connector.

All further replies to go in the original thread...
