Title: NSM ES160 Coin Mech Wiring
Post by: MrD on January 26, 2007, 06:18:51 pm
I have a NSM ES160 Prestige jukebox.  It has a coin mech that has a wiring harness with 6 wires.   It looks like it has 3 sensors probably for different size coins/denominations.

My guess is it has two wires to power the unit, then maybe a common ground and 3 sensor switches?  The sensors look to be optical and trigger when the beam is broken by the coin.

Does anyone know anything about these and what the wiring diagram is?  I'm trying to hook it up to a IPAC to convert it to a DOSCab jukebox.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I found it a good idea to throw some of those original jukebox pinout/wiring questions up on a jukebox forum. They've been a great help to me when I am trying to figure stuff like that out.

Here's one I venture to often: http://www.jukeboxmadness.com/forum/ (http://www.jukeboxmadness.com/forum/)

Might be worth a shot for you.

Thanks.  I'll give that a try.   I'm sure it's an easy answer if you have the correct manual.
