Title: Need Help With Finding a Certain Micro Switch For my Stick....
Post by: NeoGeoPlaya on January 24, 2007, 09:54:51 pm
Hey guys,

I need a new micro switch for my Neo Geo Stick.  It's the bigger original stick that comes with the AES.  I need to find a Matsushita AH76515 micro switch with the lever accentuator on it.  I'd like to find a few to have as spares too.  I've googled and can only find some place in Switzerland that carries them.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?  There HAS to be somewhere in the States that carries these.  Fryes doesn't have the right ones, and I can't find any on Happs either.

Also, one of my Neo Sticks has another issue.  When I unplug the stick from the console, the plug casing comes out but the actual plug and wires stay in the console.  I have to squeeze it really hard to get it all to come out.  Is there some kind of glue that I can use to keep the housing from sliding off of the plug?

Thanks again!

Tough switch to find, it seems.  Looks like Panasonic (a.k.a. Matsushita) bought out NAiS/Aromat, assuming they didn't already own them and just changed the name.  The complete Panasonic Electrical Works number for the switch is AH76515559F.  I can't find any distributors in the U.S., nor can I find anyone who includes the brand(s) in their cross-references.  You might have to try to match up the specs and sizes with an easier to find brand, such as Cherry, Omron, or Honeywell.  The required force spec might be different, so if you find something that'll drop in, you're probably better off changing them all out for the sake of consistency.
