Title: Please help me find the name of this Dungen and Dragons style side scroller!

I want to play this game with my son but I cant find it.

Its a dungen and dragons type game.
multi level side scroller
I'm sure it takes place in a dungen most of the time.
I use to play it in 1986 ( I think)
not rastan or golden axe
I remember having a battle axe and being able to unlock guys to fight along side of you.
I think you could get sword and battle axe power ups.

I cant remember much more. I think two could play at the same time but not sure. :dunno

Yup its well,  Black Tiger and Magic Sword. I got them mixed up in my old 37 year brain. I guess I thought they were the same game from the bits of memory I could gather. Regardles, I loved these games. They take me back to when I played them while waiting for my girl friend to get off work at he local pizza joint.

By the way I found some great looking games while searching. For example when I get home from class tonight Im going to fire up the cab and try some Blade Master.

Well he eats pencils, so I figured maybe a few minor details were off.  :P

Yup, cool game.

Don't forget to walk left and shoot the wall when you start this game.

Black Tiger is awesome. A little short, but awesome.
