Title: What game is this ??
Post by: tommyinajar on January 20, 2007, 07:13:26 pm: I picked up an empty cabinet with a removable control panel, and 3 coins slots with 3 holes for the gun cables. I looked on KLOV but nothing quite like it ?

Any Help ??

However it's had a conversion to "House Of The Dead" version 1, at some point, because those are definately HOTD1 Graphics on there.

The interesting thing is, that SEGA never produced a conversion kit for turning something into HOTD1, so this must be a third party hack up of two machines.

They're a chunk out of the side art, from a european HOTD1 Deluxe Cabinet.

well I never would have guessed it was at one time a Super Off Road.

I don't think it was a House of the dead ever though.

It had replacement panels over where the steering wheels were with 1,2,3 player buttons. It had THREE holsters on it and 3 holes right above the coin slots.

I think it's called "Evil Night" because according to KLOV play 2 has a shotgun and on the clean control panel the chick has a shot gun. Here is the side art on one on Ebay

You are absolutely right.... I stand corrected It's a piece of the side art from a Konami "Evil Night" Which was a direct rip off for the first "house of the dead" Konami jumping on the bandwagon.

In actual fact "House Of The Dead 1" also used pump action shotguns. I know because I just binned four of them on instruction from my boss. Two of them were brand new replacement guns that had never been fitted to a machine! An absolute sin in my book, but unfortunately I couldn't rescue them that day :'( :cry: :(
