Post by: Karaokedude on January 17, 2007, 08:46:26 pm
Not sure if it my setup or not
if i set the skin to CD4-3 wincab will load but a lot of the time will freeze totally and not allow any input
happens if i use the batch file or not
all paths are ok
PC Spec isnt an issue P4 3.4 650 2gb DDR2
Wincab on a SATA ,MP3s on an IDE Drive
wondered if anyone else has hasd similar if i use the BJRock skin it is fine
unless it is the CD images is there a recomended size for Album art ?

Don't know; I can't duplicate the problem.  Does the music freeze as well, or do you just lose input capability?

Can you set debuglevel=4 in jukebox.ini and after a frozen session send me the resulting jbdebug.log file?

Thanks!

ok had a play about

only trying on 3 cds in seperate folders
removed art still locks
removed directorys one by one still locked

i think the problem is in the indexing and database

cds only show 14 tracks so it will split into 2 if it is more

if i delete the idx files and restart
I have one folder with 16 files in it and it gets split into 7 and 9
if i then exit and restart it shows it as a cd with 14 and dosnt show the extra tracks

the problem seems to be if the cd has more than 14 or 28
ie if there are 17 tracks it throughs a wobbly but if it has 26 or so it is fine but over 28 throughs it out

is there a way to set something in the ini file to alloow you to delete the database files on exit if required so it totally rebuilds on startup

That narrows it down a lot... it must be related to the new orphan control feature.   I should be able to find it now. Thanks!
