Bought a 21" PC monitor to install in my upright cab. I've decased it and run it horizontally for a couple of months without a problem. It's not in a cabinet yet, just sitting on a desk. Yesterday I decided to tip it onto its side to see how vertical games would look on it, and to see how to get Mamewah to display the games vertically.
As I tipped it clockwise, the colors on the display went wrong; I can't say exactly which color went out, but it was as if either blue or green decided not to work. I immediately tipped it back to the original position but then the screen went dead, and the power LED blinks amber now. I've restarted the PC several times. Normally, if there's no input signal detected the display will say so; it's not displaying anything at all now.
I've tried the HP support site, the manual, and a few other things and can't find the problem, let alone the solution.
Any ideas?

Since you were physically rotating the monitor when the problems started be sure to check your connector to the monitor and the PC. It may not say no signal because the connectors may be only partially loose. Try to bring up the OSD for monitor adjustment. If it comes up you have a working monitor. Try switching inputs if you have dual inputs to the monitor.

Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggested but no luck. Can't get anything to display, including the menu. I've connected the monitor to a different working PC, both inputs, with no change. I think my my next step is to remove the "cage" and see if anything came loose.

have a very good check of the plugs going to the board on the neck of the tube.
