Its a snow day here in cen-tex! The kids think we are having a blizzard. I think there may be about 10mm of snow on the ground :laugh2:

10mm??? :laugh2: We got over 3 inches here in Iowa from Sunday into Monday and some schools still had classes. Then of course you folks down there probably are not used to getting the white stuff. I remember once I was visiting relatives in Long Island NY and they were shut down for 3 days because they didn't have any equipment to deal with the 3 inches they received. They used pickup trucks with tiny blades on the front to clear the roads.

Got a couple inches in my corner of Michigan. No snow day. Made the hour and a half drive to work.

Uh, dude, we get 2 feet and they don't cancel school.

We had a mix of ice and snow, had to scrape 1/8" of ice off the car this morning. If it had been only snow most schools would only have been delayed not closed.

Bah. We scape an eighth of an inch of ice off the blanket just to get out of bed.

Location, Location, Location. It all depends on what you are used to and how you prepare. ;)

We prepare by getting good and drunk, taking our pants off, and melting a nice ass groove in the ice so we are good and comfy.

I know it's an inconvenient truth, but global warming is here!
