Title: Mala feature?
Post by: southpaw13 on January 16, 2007, 10:12:28 am
So I got some time to finally play with Mala.  I noticed when you want to move down your game list, you have an option to go to the next letter of the alphabet.  Will Mala let you go to your next page of games instead?  So if you are displaying 25 games on your screen, you can go foward to the next 25.  Just curious or did I just do a feature request?

Thanks,
Southpaw

I believe this is handled via the "X up" and "X down" fields in the options.  Bring up the Options menu and select the Controller tab.  Then select the keyboard or joystick tabs.  In "X up" use the control you want.  Likewise for "X down".

Hmmm...now that you mention it though, I wonder what "X" is?

Oh, that Swindus sure is good.  I think the "X" is defined on the Controller->Options tab under the Up interval and Down interval fields.  Also note the Use one page for interval and Use letters instead of interval checkboxes.  I believe that should give you all the configuration options you need.

Good luck!

I'd be really happy with a search feature  ::)

If you just have a few game that you want to run on a seperate version of mame you can set them up in the 'other emu config'

I want to also run Misfit Mame which is about 600 games.  It would be great to use all the .dat's and filters.
