Title: Removal from Cabinet Instructions...
Post by: JayTea on April 02, 2003, 01:14:16 pm
Found a good little tutorial on how to safely remove a monitor from the cabinet, for what it's worth.

There is also a discharge tutorial, if anyone is interested.

I was working on an FAQ myself last nite... I will still do that, but I will link out to other sites with "backup" information for verification purposes.  Working with monitors isn't that hard and if you know what you're doing safe. But for the average Joe, unless you know the risks and how to be safe, it could be a very bad experience.

Thanks for putting in that kind of time Mamefan - I for one am appreciative.  I plan on educatiing myself fully before I touch anything.  I know I can do this, but I just need more info.
