I like the idea of a polls only section since it would make it easier for you to find/reply to polls that may interest you. :dunno
-
I like the idea, because it gets them out of the main forums. If somebody is doing research for whatever purpose, then the answers to polls are not necessarily of interest or use to the rest of us.

Personally I think there are too many sections already. Most of the sections except Main and Project Announcements are almost inactive.
-
Polls shmolls, not like they ever generally do much for you. Knowing how many people like what variety of MAME or even pie, seems to be even a slight bit off-topic.

As an aside, my favorite pie is pumpkin, with vanilla whipped cream on top. Mmm

This should be in the website forum, not main.
-
no, I don't see enough polls to warrant their own section....
-
No because polls usually are relevant current issues. I think that I would be less likely to just go trolling for polls in a poll forum. I vote to keep polls in main.

I disagree. I think that Texas has been the king pollster lately and I think there have been some fun discussions. Some of it would be helpful during searches. I think that polls are less clutter than newbs asking where to find roms and can I use my typewriter for an encoder.
But I do thing that we need a section for sections. I would call it the section section. Here you can post all sorts of random stuff that should go in some section somewhere. Then Saint can go through and sort them all out. ;D

Polls will not get their own section at this time :)

Well. There you go. Better way to end the thread than with a reference to the Nazis, I guess! :laugh2:

Heh :)

Anyone been to the museum of Tolerance? Horrible feeling in there, but very educational.

You know there's more than enough topics when a thread about adding a new topic is started in the wrong topic.
