Title: ANyone tried one of these jamma cabinet to pc converters off of ebay?
Post by: shardian on January 11, 2007, 02:49:51 pm
ebay link (http://cgi.ebay.com/Arcade-Mame-Games-In-Standard-Jamma-Cabinet-Converter_W0QQitemZ140072605686QQihZ004QQcategoryZ13718QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

I am considering getting one of these to convert one of the generic jamma cabs I have. Seems like a cheap and quick way to do it.
Anyone else have one, or know anything about them?

looking at the buy it now price ($75.00 + shipping) I wouldnt go for it as the J-Pac is available from ultimarc for $57 + shipping.

The J-pac is a much better known product and also has plenty of documentation kicking around.

there seems very little if any info on the ebay one, even the sellers site doesnt list it as a product they sell or offer any information on it.
and what the heck is it using the parallel port for?
