Title: Info on CM A14 needed
Post by: johnnya on January 08, 2007, 10:12:48 pm
I have a generic cocktail cab with a CM A14 chassis in it, which I believe is a Toei.  It does look very similar to the CM A20 found on Bob Robert's chassis ID page here http://www.homearcade.org/BBBB/mon64.jpg.

Does anyone have any info on this chassis?

The reason I ask is that it used to come on and be playable for a while before the monitor would blank out.  Over time, the time it would be playable would get less and less.  Now, it will go out very quickly, and when you reset it, it comes on for only a couple seconds, not even enough time to get an image onto the monitor, and then it cuts off.

Any ideas?  I tried another game board in it, and it does the same thing.

Toei's are not common and are very hard to find parts for in the USA.

Looking for information on a Toei CM-R14 the tube actually works but i'm finding it hard to set the V-hold-and H-hold It worked for last week...and now it's crazy hahaha  I'm trying to keep the faith with the older monitors.....trying to resist the pull to a VGA connection.

If anyone has any pdf's on the Toei model that would be awesome ;-)

Thanks
Dwight
