ok, riddle me this... If I had a modded 360, would I be able to play the regular xbox backups on the 360 as well as 360 backups?
thanks!

No, not easily.
You can supposedly convert Xbox backups to work with the 360, but you have to use a dual layer disc. And honestly, I'd say its not worth the hassle.

samsung drive with latest 5.2 firmware can play single layer xbox1 backups as is(dvd r - and +).
hitachi drive cant play xbox1 backups as is..need to reburn then on dual layer discs.

if you gotta go with the dual layer disks, you might be able to create multidisks and put 2-4 games on one disk.

Nope
It still isn't going to be able to play unsigned code (meaning no custom launch menu), so the only way to have multiple games per disc, would be from ones that are already set up that way.
ie. JSRF/GT2000, Top Spin/NCAA '05, etc... Of course then you have to factor in whether or not they are even on the BC list.

multi disc of any sort wont work at the moment because xbox360 doesnt really have an iso builder software like xbox1. and like versapak mentioned, 360s cant run unsigned codes yet.

when i place my xbox1 backups (single layer) in my 360 it boots to the xbox1 screen , but a blade comes up on the right side and says an update is needed for the game or will become available in the future.
(hitachi drive)
id say they work

try a "supported game" and you will still get the same message ;)
hitachi drive dont play single layer disc.

damn, definetly not worth the hassle of and expense of copying them all to dual layer.. ive still got my xbox1 so ive never really had a reason to try.
thx for the tip though
