Title: Freebox Jukebox - MP3/CD-G files???
Post by: surf on January 06, 2007, 11:58:36 pm
Will Freebox play separate MP3 and CD-G files in Karaoke mode?  If so, I can't seem to get the config program to find any of my files.

Thanks for any help...

Ok, found out HOW to get the files playing in Mediaplayer and get Freebox to find them (duh, use the Karaoke Player!!), but  Freebox just plays the music not the video that goes along with it...Do you NEED two monitors to do this?

Thanks again...

You will get a quicker response to these questions over on our forum...

http://www.freeboxjukebox.com

What you need to do to get the MP3+G files to work is install the CODEC included in the zip file. When you install Freebox you will see under it's shortcuts in the start menu an entry that says "Karaoke Support Driver". If you extrac that zip and install the codec then the karaoke will display on the now playing screen the same as the videos do.

Hopefully that answers your question, thanks for your support.

P.S. I just released a new version today... 2.1.0.3 for public and 2.1.0.4 to people who donated.

Thanks,

That area is going to be a bit small on a 15" screen.

Keep up the good work, Freebox is the best touchscreen jukebox program I've yet seen!

Have a good one!

Well you can alter the skin and make that area larger if you wish. Failing that it does support dual screens so if you have TV out you can out put to a TV and all videos and karaoke files will display on that.
