We have one at work. I'd never used one before a few months ago. The manual was quite detailed on what to do.

Im sure it is....The manual I have is not the standard user manual, it is a setup manual which simply list a bunch of picture tubes and what not...It doesnt tell how to use the machine. I believe these machines are suppose to have about 3 or 4 manuals, and all i have is one (and not the one i need..) Would you be willing to perhaps make me a copy of the manual if i were willing to pay you?

You can still purchase a user/instruction manual for that model from the manufacturer www.bkprecision.com

470 Cathode Ray Tube Tester/Rej. - Instruction Manual 25.00 Order
470 Cathode Ray Tube Tester/Rej. - Parts/Schematic 10.00 Order
470 Cathode Ray Tube Tester/Rej. - Setup Charts 35.00 Order
Do you suppose all I need is the standard instructional manual?? 25 bucks sounds a bit high.
-
Actually that price is on par. I think you only need the instruction manual for your purposes. The manual is detailed quite nicely.

If you get a newer copy of the setup guide, it will give you pretty much step-by step instructions on how to use the rejuvinator. I have that same model B&K and I love it. Just make sure you have adapters 23 and 31, they are the two most common ones you will use on arcade tubes. If you google for the setup guide you should find a copy online. It also gives you the pinouts for the universal adapter in the back of the book in case you need to make one.

I have been trying to find an online copy like you have mentioned and can not find it. So they setup charts manual will be more help to me than the instruction manual?? BKmanuals.com shows the setup chart manual as 35 bucks 64 pages..

The setup/adapter guide only has like a brief half page of instructions (quick ref guide) for operation. It is available to download at www.ionpool.net but that site seems to be down right now.
Yoou really do want the instruction manual. It has line art drawings, detailed instructions & explainations of what to do/why you're doing it, pictures of the meter readings, etc. Trust me----get the INSTRUCTION/OWNERS/USERS manual. That's the one worth paying for.
