Title: Suggestion Needed
Post by: bmrust on January 05, 2007, 04:40:20 pm
I recently got an 8" touch screen LCD to use with my jukebox project.

What software should I use with this screen?  It CAN do 800x600, although they suggest 640x480

it is touchscreen so i was considering Freebox, but if something would suit it better, I'd like to try it out.

thanks!

640x480 eh? I think touchscreen is gonna be tough at that resolution - perhaps freebox in a text mode. I'm using a 15" and I wish I had a 19".

WinCab could probably do well using one of the low-res skins, although many people find WinCab's default buttons a little small so some skin hacking might be in order.

FYI, here's WinCab's lowres skin at 640x480:
