Wow, this took way too long.  But here it is:

New Features:

And most importantly, it's free if you own a KeyWiz!

For now it can be downloaded here (http://www.groovygamegear.com/Software/KWUploader2.zip).  It's a preliminary release but should be plenty safe to use and enjoy.  Please let me know of any issues you might find with either the software or the new documentation.

Thank you again for the continued support.

Sweet! An excuse to play games this weekend! I'll give it a try and let you know how it works. Thanks for the stealth option. I assume it can load custom profiles from the previous version?

Yes, the profiles kept the same format so you can just copy them from your old config folder to the new one.

What can I say except.... that this is the coolest upgrade to the KeyWiz and the functionality improvements are excellent. Just tried it out and found that the virtual EEPROM function is exactly what many of us have been crying out for. Really can't compalin at this especially as it's a free upgrade!

Best Regards,

Randy,

Does this work with the GP-Wiz49?

Thanks,

Jeff

Sorry, KeyWiz only with this one.  For now, JoyToKey and RBJoy are your best bets for the GP-Wiz models.

Getting this software done and in the hands of KeyWiz owners was one of my high priority items.  Well, that and getting heat in my shop...these 60 degree in January days aren't going to last here in upstate NY.  Fortunately, both of these are mostly out of the way as of yesterday.

Getting the 49-way project buttoned up will quite likely be the next thing I get to cross off on my list.  The actual mechanical parts are all here and working properly, so it's just finishing up the Firmware / Software.  I will be working on it, but I don't want to release it until I am sure it's ready.

What I want to know is what gym that wizard goes to. He's got those buffed-up arms! Not bad for an old guy!
