Sometimes I forget this sub forum exists, when I do remember and check I'd just missed someone trying to plan a gathering near me.
I just wanted to know if it's just me.
-
Once a month, tops. Like you, I always forget about it.
-
Once or twice a month until yesterday when we started a local post.
I can see how it's pretty difficult to get a meet going for most areas...

Just stumbled across this sub forum a couple of days ago. Never knew it was here before then.

Once a month was the closest option. If I REMEMBER, it's once a month, otherwise I could easily go 2-4 months without EVER checking it.
I'm wondering if there's a better way to implement something like this. I know it just used to be done in EE, which sometimes kept a large meetup thread like DFW or whichever one Markrvp went to at the top and bumps off topics. At least I still saw meetup threads though. Like you, I often come late to the party to find out "Oh crap, I just missed a meetup opportunity a week or two ago".
I'm guess I'm kinda wishing meetups were posted in EE again.
-
yep, I forget all about that place... I started a thread once hoping to see about a meet-up in Atlanta, but either no one really saw it or everyone is avoiding me...
-
I never check it... I just check for unread posts (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?action=unread). So if there is a new post I will see it :)
Anyway, I don't have much use for this subforum anyway :p

Theres a meet up forum?
-
Practically never.
-
I got some meat up.

You're a bad man. (kee kee kee kee)
Since seeing the thread for my own region, sometimes every day.
-
Apparently wouldn't help me anyway.
