Post by: shortasswattsy on March 31, 2003, 06:36:14 pm
Hey,
When i turn on my jamma cabinet, i hear a high piched constant sound coming from the monitor, i have no board to test if the monitor works, but when i plug my broken board in, i get colour on the screen so i can assume the monitor works, but what is the sound?
Cheerz,

Hi pitched sounds are usually from the high voltage section of the monitor.  It is sometimes a really bad sign if you hear nothing because the HV is not working.
