Title: Miniature Trackball

Can someone tell me what HAPP was thinking when they made this?

I have in my possession a 1-1/2" diameter trackball.

I was thinking about making a miniature control panel, but the tracball spins like crap. So it just wouldn't be worth it to spend over $50 for a USB cable and 2-buttoin harness.

Nevertheless, can someone tell me what market were they aiming for when they developed this trackball, which costs over $200?

I can't see it as useful in a control panel or as a mouse.
