I've been running MAME v.92 on my cab for a while now and am just wondering what kind of changes will I need to make by upgrading to v.111, of course with new rom set, etc...
I'm using MAMEwah v1.61 as my front end. Will this still work as its set up now or will I need to re-do everything?
Thanks for any info...

Highscore support has been removed and "replaced" with savestates. I say "replaced" because from what I understand coverage is not very good yet.
That said, it also seems people have patches for the newer versions of MAME to put highscore support back in.

Another thing you might notice is that since the newer mames requires a case sensitive thing so if your in your games list using mamewah 1.61 and try to launch a game from mame .111 you will notice it wont work, except for stuff like 1942 etc... with that being said you have a few options u can get Krick's xml2info.exe file or Alternatively you can use the latest beta from mamewah, i my self decided to stick with 1.61 so hope this helps you.
