Model- NT-2701
Problem- seems dead, neck does not glow.
Verified power 120v-121v to monitor chassis, fuses pass continuity test. Black screen. Should I buy a cap kit or buy a complete power supply board? This is in a jamma cab, I also swapped jamma boards and still the same issue so I know the jamma board is ok. Jamma wiring looks good also. All connectors look intact and plugged in.
Any ideas?

Turn on the power and hold your ear down by the chassis and see if you can hear a faint clicking noise. If so, you might have a bad hot or flyback. There is also a couple of larger capacitors on your horizontal drive that can go bad.

I have written a copyrighted repair guide to that model. Shoot me an email if you want a copy.

email sent, thanks. No sounds heard from the unit.

I have emailed the guide to you a few days ago. Let us know how things turn out on this monitor. Probably will turn out to have a bad flyback.

Any updates?

Sent it to Chad, it works like a champ,he changed the caps and voltage regulator and a resistor. All I had to do was adjust the flyback. Now I can play my new gauntlet legacy cab. I traded my outrun cabaret for it, this new cab is in mint condition art and all, thanks for the tips, you are the arcade king in my opinion !!
