Chad, WTF?
Anyways, switch out the microswitch and see if there is a difference. That is probably your issue.

Chad hate any bad grammars. I say we all grammar bad from now on ever.
To cure boiiing issue - earplugs. ;D

I disagree. If it's a boiiing sound it's more likely the spring than the microswitch. I'm guessing something isn't lining up the way it should, perhaps getting caught on something that is causing the spring to fling back and hit something when the button is pressed.
Open up the control panel, have a look at the button itself while pressing the button and see exactly where the boiiing is coming from.
Sorry cowbell, I started typing that in bad grammar but it hurt my head.

Have you given any thought to changing over to leaf switch buttons (and joys for that matter). If it's the clicking from the microswitches that bothers you, that'll do it.
Ponyboy has some leaf switches that will fit in place of a microswitch on a horizontal pushbutton.
If it is actually the spring, swap it out with another (just in case, by some remote chance, you've never done this/don't know how -----> remove microswitch, squeeze 'feet' of button plunger together and push through to top of button., remove and replace spring), or just swap out the whole button.
If it's a button used often, just swap it with a button you use less frequently i.e. admin button or pause or coin up or whateva.

My guess if its a true vibration or boing that you are hearing is that the spring isnt flush against either the base or top of the button. and its small but quick vibration is causing your after push boooiiinnggg.. you are hearing.. maybe take apart the button and pull on the spring a bit forcing it to push against the bottom and top of the button then re-assemble and game as usual.
dunno just my guess.

Thanks everyone for all your quick guessing ! Don't know when i'll get a chance to "pop the hood" of my cabinet control panel.. but if i get around to it there are other things id like to change,.. For one its black buttons on a black panel / so they are hard to see at least for the arcade challenged friends I have... along with for what ever reason my joysticks feel completely different the one on the left is smoother the one on the right clicks alot ? those are also black, i think i might opt those for red ones instead, and i'd also like to add a light gun eventually more than likely act labs... or lcd top gun, not sure. :dunno
