Title: Mamewah Issues

I'm installing mamewah and I have run into two problems.... so far. I have my lest generation in my MAME ini set to rom_folder_vs_listxml, but the short names are still displayed, can't fugure out how to display the full name. Also I can't get a background to display in a custom layout, the background shows up in the layout editor but not in the actual program, the actual layout shows, but no the background. thanks in advance.

First off your layout backgrounds need to be named the following (and yes,  it is confusing that you can load other named files and it doesn't rename or redirect the layout to look for the other name)...

MAIN.JPG - main background
OPTIONS.JPG - options background
MESSAGE.JPG - the "loading ROM" background

As for your other issue,  I am not 100% sure what the problem is.  Are you using the latest beta 1.62b12?  If not,  I highly recommend it over 1.61.

Also, what version of Mame?
