Anyone have a good urls to mamewah layouts for 640x288? I am using an arcade vga and the 640x480 ones flicker the screen. And the efault 640x288 doesn't quite do it for me. I am going to try and make one, but I am no graphics artist. Thanks for any help or advice.

You could make your own.
If you can not pick up Photoshop, check out Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/screenshots/).

You can use a skin created for 640x480 and resize it to 640x288 in a application.
You can so adjust positions in the skin editor.
Screenshot archive does have a few mamewah skin, created for 640x288:
