Title: Question on Mala When Launching a Game
Post by: hsr on December 15, 2006, 02:25:07 pm
Download and test computer is a Celeron 2.53GHz with 256MB Ram running XP.  By "test", I mean the one I use to learn how to set up programs on.

I've been playing with Mala for a couple hours (mostly setting up my own layout).  When launching a game, I found that I get the Command Prompt window on top of Mala and Mala's "starting" window.

This takes away a lot from the look of the front end and makes it look, well, like Windows.

Was wondering if there was an easy way to hide the command prompt window?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Forget it.  windowstate=0 in mala.ini

Cool.. You worked it out.

Just FYI it is set like that by default so you can fault find any Mame errors when you first set it up.

You can change all settings via the Gui. No need to edit mala.ini
