Just picked up on of these bad boys:
http://store.artlebedev.com/catalog/computer_add-ons/optimus-mini-three/
im going to use it to monitor my cpu usage, time, and cpu temp.
im going to set it behind my greylite 14 at the bottom. i will try to have it flush up against the glass. so when you look at the screen, at the bottom you will have a nice oled clock and temp monitor!!!!!!
pics will be posted once i install it!!!!

Sweet! That will look super cool when it is installed... If somone configured a control setting to display when a game was loaded from the front-end it would be the greatest thing ever. Like the first window could have a pic/description of the controls (8-way, spinner, etc.) and the second one could display the buttons you needed to use. Not so sure what the third one could do but a clock would be nice there too...

supposedly the software is super customizable!!!! you may be able to do that, i will tinker with it once it comes in, but if i could get the middle panel to show the game art, panel 1 clock, panel 3 temps, that would be the jackpot!!!

I was going to go that route myself for admin buttons, would be very cool to change them automatically when you are in your frontend to things like Exit, Select game and something to become Pause, Settings and Exit in Mame when it starts up.
It was the price that put me off though, way too expensive for what is a essentially a couple of OLED screens like you find in cheap Taiwan MP3 players.
They are damn nice though LOL
