Title: How do I input History of the games into MAME?

Do I have to input each games history manually? or is there a file a can download?

If I have to input it manually, how do I do it?

Go to here http://www.mame.net/downmisc.html

After Download, go to your mame options and make sure the directory is there.

thanks, downloaded it, but when I go to my MAME32 folder, I dont see a folder for the History  :-[

Funny, I thought most latest revisions of MAME possessed a history folder, I would maybe update your MAME version and see if that helps.

One thing to check is to go to MAME's "options>directories>history", if "history" doesn't exist there, then your current version of MAME doesn't support it.

I use mame32 v0.9u1
funny thing is, on the tab control on the right, there is a History Tab, but no folder for the history.  :angry:

Download and unzip it into your Mame folder. There should be no folder just history.dat
