I'm planning to buy one of theese to interface my pc to a 25" TV using RGB SCART cable, is that a good idea?
Did one of you guys is already using one?
Are you satified with the picture quality?

Sorry... Have you got a link to show us what one of these is???
You can't normally interface a PC directly to a TV Set that way... because the RGB on the SCART runs at a different frequncy to RGB signal from a PC.
I guess you're somewhere in the UK if you're using a SCART lead. I'm very interested in this devce you mention if it allows that to be done. I have a TV frequency RGB Monitor.... effectively an arcade monitor with a case I was thinking about using, but I don't want the expense of an Arcade VGA Card.... which as far as I know at the moment is the only way to get a high quality, correct resolution, image.

is a unit that does the dirty job of trasnforming the 31khz into 15khz by using a digital framebuffer.
I've seen it around and i was, How it works.

OK.... So I guess we both need to know what the quality of output is like and if it will work with the setup we have.
As I said, if you can provide a web link to the device, then that would be a help here.

I had an older one with the same name and the emulation would not stay synced at times (image would tear)...
Buyer beware..

Thanks for the info! I suspected that might be the case, given that we're dropping the output frequency so much.
