Title: have 27" horizontal monitor, can it play verticaly with centipede?

Im thinking of putting a 27" monitor in a spare cab that I have. I would like to have it with vertical orientaton and put a centipede pcb in it. Question, is a horizontal monitor and vertical monitor the same thing, only differently mounted?
