I thought I would post what I have completed so far with my project. Its called 'Wings of Fury' due to the art work that was chosen from my CPT. I have to first thank Knievel for the awesome CPT. Excellent quality and promt shippment and support. I will be starting the main cabinet in a short time (if the wife will let me). I am using MameWah as a front end and have attached the artwork for that.
Question on the cabinet design I have attached, anyone see any major problems in the design??

Very unique cab profile! Looking forward to some more pics!

Looks really good so far - it's a pretty unique profile. How do you plan to cut out the curves? Did Knievel build the entire control panel for you, including the artwork and everything? Do the buttons light up? If so, what color and are they leaf switches? Lots of questions... time to get going on the cabinet part!!

Very nice graphics on the control panel and MameWah  Did you design that yourself? Like the name also
I'm interested in how you will manage the curves on your plans, will you be working with MDF? or Ply? The only potential problem I can see is the base may come out a bit too far at the bottom? If the players are sitting on bar stools can they sit comfortably with enough knee and foot room?

Good point about the base. I'd actually make that part perpendicular to the floor or at least make the slant less severe. Are you planning on a coin door? You should think about how that will look on an angled front panel. You could still angle the side pieces and keep the coin door panel perpendicular though...

Knievel built the CP top but I did the rest of the wood work and switch wiring myself. As for the art work, I found the image online (high resolution desktop wallpaper) and modified it slightly for the rings around the controls. Did the same with the MameWah front end graphic. I wasn't planning on lighting the buttons, when I was looking for button color choices, I couldn't find one that went well with the art work so I decided on the clear ones since they don't stand out as much. Maybe in the future I will put lighting in them but not for now.
As for the cabinet design, my plan was to have it built mostly of MDF, and the side panels would have the curves but the front door piece (not putting in a coin door) would be a vertical surface. The very top curve (behind the marque) I haven't figured out how I was going to do that. Was thinking of a few cross pieces with black wire mesh overtop or diamond plate and make the front door diamond plate as well. Any other ideas?

Nice start! :applaud:
The artwork looks good too. For the base that maybe sticking out to much. You could keep the profile on the side and keep the front plate straight down, without the angle from the side.
You have a very nice and sharp CP. That goes only with an equally well build cabinet. You committed yourself to a very high standard! ;) Yep, that's a compliment for Knievel!
BTW put on (working) coindoor. It'll finishes it beautifully. I was in doubt, but decided to put one on. It's looks good too! ;D
