Post by: rlemmon on December 05, 2006, 07:59:01 pm

All I have to go on is the comments from when retroblast talked about them a while back, everyone said they sucked and not worth the money.

They had a floor model at best buy that I tried. It works fine, but does not give you the feel of a real pinbal machine. I have to say they are slow, unresponsive, weak, and cheap plastic feeling...not to mention the ten seconds of music that loop over and over get annoying.

It would be fine gift for the kids, but if you want to create the authentic pinball experiance, I think it is better to save your coin for the real thing.

Real things cost upwards of $3,500.  I had one for $250 at an auction, but I couldnt' get it to work right for the life of me.

I sold it to a guy who still can't figure out why the pop bumpers don't work.

I might buy one when they go on sale.
