Prices are in australian dollars. you can translate the prices using google. eg search for "$300 australian dollars in dollars" to turn AUD into US dollars
-
well according to my converter thats 160 pounds for the larger monitor so in my book that is very cheap
the cheapest i can buy in the uk is pentranic monitors and for that size it would be about 300-400 pounds
what frequency are these?

They all appear to be 15khz.
If you click on each of the little pics it gives a little bit more info. (not very much more)
I'd be curious to know "who" makes them.

The chassis at that link looks a lot like a EYGO chassis...
-
Looks more like a Jen Shinn chassis to me. That's what 8liners.com sells in the USA.

Reply from dorian at gamedude.com.au
well most of the chassis we use are generic and the tubes can be any brand we have... Samsung, Phillips ect....
If your after Kortek, Wells Gardner or other name brand types of chassis and tube they are very expensive new and all used ones are either worn out or have major problems by now.... not impossible to find in good nick but not easy either.... all cabinets we have with these monitors in them are in good nick so we don't usually part them.
The only NEW chassis and tube we have is all 29" and maybe next year we will have some 21" new, the brand is CMG.
Any other size and we use TV tubes and generic chassis which for all intents and purposes are the same thing arcade machines use.

I stand corrected...

so , say if i wanted to buy this cmg monitor 29 " for $350 AUD is this a good price or is CMG crap, hope CMG isnt a ruddy tv brand.
