Title: Unable to Complete a Drawing Operation?! (ArcadeVGA)
Post by: Chazz on March 28, 2003, 10:33:33 pm
I've posted this on Andy's site, but I might get more help here.

I've tried installing the XP drivers for the ArcadeVGA card in safe-mode. I re-boot as requested by the program, but the system crashes when XP tries to start. When I re-boot back to safe-mode after the crash I get the error report messaage:

The Driver For The Display Device Was Unable To Complete A Drawing Operation.

I aslo get this info:

AppName: Drivers Display
ModName:  ATI2DVAG.DLL
AppVer:  10025159000F011787
ModVer:  6.13.10.6015
Offset:  A38A06EA

Does anyone know what's wrong, and why I can't install the card?

I'm running a P2-533

Thanks!

Here's a quote from the ultimarc site:

Blue screens and re-booting in XP after plugging in the card:
XP is trying to use it's built-in ATI driver. Either re-start in safe mode and then install the ArcadeVGA drivers OR delete the file ATIMTAG.SYS in the Windows/System32/drivers folder. Then install the ArcadeVGA drivers.

sounds like this might help, If you havn't aready tried this of course.
