This has become a popular question from my wife.
Does anybody else spend this much time on there stuff?
I seem to spend most of my time on computer part of my cab. Getting it dialed in and all.
Anyway, just wondering if this question from my wife has been expierienced by others. ;)

Can't say I spent too much time getting my cab set up, it just sits there and gets played now. The missus sometimes has her friends round for some StreetFighter 2 and Bomberman. Sounds like it's time to stop messing with it and use it ;)

I was just talking about this last night. I feel like I have learned more about computers in the past couple of months than the last several years. If you want to anything outside of normal and make your cab to cool things (like work) you do have to spend a lot of time getting it tuned in. I decided to use GGG 49 way joys and LED Wiz with a arcade monitor through a AVGA card. Finding something that will do all the above without a total struggle has been hard. PowerMAME32 works great for all this if you don't mind staring at a windows screen as a front end. I personally want the full experience of front end and all.

Well...I am, personally, happy to have a 2nd project. Breaking my first project just so I could fix it was getting old. Now I can pretty much leave my 1st project alone in it's WORKING state and focus my energies on my 2nd project...until it's done. Then I am considering either a bartop or a cocktail table...
...or a bartop cocktail table?

To hear "Are you working on your arcade stuff again tonight?" is not a rare thing in our house....
only these days it seems to include words like stupid, ---gosh-darn--- and f***ing more and more.
Thats not to say she doesn't love the idea of having a working machine but I think she's getting a little jealous.

I use PM32 with mamewah with no issues. Just thought I would add that.

I've found that AtomicFE gives me the options that i want. Ledwiz support, Customizable layouts, Game sorting, and more that i haven't even tried yet ,about the only thing i don't think Atomic offers yet is your betabright support.
I'm really newb to this so i could be wrong. And i'm just starting with Multiple emus on one front end, but that seems to work fine.
