I recently did a write up over at Retroblast on a new auction site that has been created for gamers. The owner primarily was looking for a way to make it easier for the NES community to buy, sell and trade NES stuff, but then he realized that expanding it to all types of gaming paraphernalia would be more beneficial to the gaming community as a whole. One of the comments suggested that he have an arcade section for the site, which he decided to include.

BYOAC vendors might want to take advantage of this service by setting up a store with the items you frequently have in stock. Setting up a store is free; however additional upgrades for your store have small fees which include:

    * Second Category Fee 0.10¢ USD

    * Highlighted Items Fee 0.10¢ USD

    * Bold Items Fee 0.10¢ USD

    * Category Featured Items Fee 0.10¢ USD

    * Home Page Featured Items Fee 0.25¢ USD

These upgrades are not mandatory, but may help with promoting your items.

This may be a way for some of our vendors to reach a broader audience. The auction site also utilizes a feedback system similar to e-bay. The site even allows the importation of your e-bay, and yahoo auction feedback. I really don't want this to take away from BYOAC's B/S/T section, but just want to help you find other avenues of promoting your store or items you have for sell.

BYOAC buyers may be able to take advantage of this, because they can see the feedback of the person they are buying from, and now that they are a reputable dealer.

Those BYOACers with one or two items they want to sell may set up an auction over there and possibly get a better price for their items.

Since BYOAC is still having a glitch with activating new accounts, anybody who has any questions, I can relay these questions to the owner of the site and get you an answer.

Here is the Retroblast article first introducing the site:

It seems not to be. At least the registration and login aren't. I'd certainly be wary about submitting personal info.
