I know it will be something stupid I overlooked but I can't seem to figure out how to enable mouse in Mame 1.08 or Mamewah 1.62B10? Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have tried the TAB during playing missile command but its like the mouse is disabled. So I am guessing I need to enable the mouse in Mamewah 1.62B10. My only problem is where? Do I have to enter a command before the game is started in the Mamewah\ Mame.ini file? Any help would be appreciated!

;D OK I founf the enable mouse in Mamewah\Config\mamewah.cfg..... I am a retard. I set mouse to 1 and now trackball works in mamewah. The trackball still doesnt work in Mame 1.08. What am I missing? Is it a command in the Mame.ini inside of Mamewah?

No, it is something within the mame.ini of MAME. 'mouse 1' is the easiest way, although nowadays 'trackball_device mouse', 'dial_device mouse' etc. is preferred.

Holy SHEET! MINWAH LIVES!
The problem is that your trackball is not your MOUSE DEVICE 0. I assume you also have a mouse hooked up? My cabinet is the same way. My MOUSE is device 0 and my spinner is device 1. I had to go in to the MAME config menu (TAB) and configure my "PADDLE" and my "DIAL" as device 1 (instead of 0).
Make sure you modify MAME.INI to read "MOUSE 1".
Minnie: Any news for us MAMEWAHerz soon?

I am probably a bit out of date with stuff...so is my trackball_device etc advice wrong? I think it is correct, but you then just have to be careful of any mouse-device-specific input mappings.

Not a lot...except my todo list has got a hell of a lot bigger since checking the boards today! :( That'll teach me to have some time off....

No you're correct. Sounds like he had to remap his mouse device inside mame.
