Title: Good free educational software?
Post by: ChadTower on November 24, 2006, 10:41:14 am

I'm looking for some good educational software for the kids... obviously, I mean legally free.  Anyone have recommendations?  Stuff from about first grade to 6th would work.

Nice!  20 pounds to join, though.

Wow!  His stuff used to be totally free.  I can see where he would charge, but that's not the way it was a year ago.

Download Win994a (TI99/4a emulator). It comes with all the cool educational software that Bill Crosby himself recommends.

I dunno how you look at things but, this is what I do/did....

I go to my local Library and borrow the educational CD's they offer and when I bring it home, I don't let the kids handle it cause they might break it, so the logical thing I did was to copy it and let them use that instead of hte original.  :D

I don't feel that BAD about it cause I have given my original CD's/Vide's etc... to my local library.

The next logical step is a C64.

I've actually done that in the past.  I don't have much of a problem with it given how much money I donate to our library every year... but our library is small and not much for software.
